This was a great present for my brother-in-law. He's been saving wine corks - simply tossing them in a drawer. He and my sister entertain often, so he'll enjoy being able to show off the corks from some of his favorite wines. Plus, it's unique. They'd never seen anything like it.

Please note that you should use "fresh" corks -- I had saved some but they became too brittle or dry to use for the trivet.
