Comments about Smart Mouse Trap - Humane Mouse Trap:

This woodland mouse was very light and fast.
He eluded all our store bought and home made
traps for TWO MONTHS! We set up two smart mouse
traps in the kitchen and caught him within HOURS!
Now he is back in the woods where he belongs, miles away from our house.

What a relief!

Comments about Smart Mouse Trap - Humane Mouse Trap:

My husband and I were pleased with the quality and the smart, simple design. We loved the fact the ramp into the trap was almost level, not intimidating for the mouse to step on. We also like the fairly large opening. Having it be transparent was helpful to see if there was anyone inside! We have been at our wit's end trying to catch a tiny, lightweight skittish mouse for six weeks. We tried many humane traps, even homemade traps. This mouse wasn't interested in investigating any traps, no matter how inticing our bait was. Just like others have said....we got our guy the first night! What a relief!!! We are only going to use The Smart Mouse Trap from here on. We will recommend these to others. One tip I would like to pass on is, in the crack under door "A" (the cracker side) I use a plastic orange peeler edge to start lifting up the door from the bottom. This way lifts up the door with less tugging on the roof.

Greenfeet - The Planet's Homestore Response: Fantastic! Thanks for adding a tip - I'm sure others will appreciate the idea. Happy you caught the mouse so quickly

Comments about Smart Mouse Trap - Humane Mouse Trap:

We had a little friend in our apartment, and wanted to get rid of him since he had become brazen, coming out while we were in the kitchen. The first night we put out a cracker with peanut butter, in the morning, we heard the door snap shut, and there he was.

We let him go in a nearby park.

The only con was having to clean it. The peanut butter got a bit smeared under the spring, and it made it a bit difficult to clean. Besides that, it is great and humane.

Comments about Smart Mouse Trap - Humane Mouse Trap:

We tried several other humane traps without success. I bought this one [...] Within 2 hours I had my first mouse. I had 2 more mice before the night was through. I actually bought 2 more of these traps on day 3 of owning my first one. They are easy to use. The directions say that the mice will eat their way out. I have not seen them do that. Usually I have to take the door off and the mouse jumps over the cracker and runs away. Once, when it was raining, the mouse stuck it's head out and decided it would rather be in the trap. It went and curled up at the back end. I had one trap that broke after catching 5-10 mice. The directions say it can be glued. This worked for a little while. I have had to glue it multiple times, but it still works. I also love that you can see the little guys. They don't seem to be scared of us either.

Great service. I have purchased many things from greenfeet.com. They always arrive quickly.
